The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard has set a specific tests for the burn resistance of a material to be used in a motor vehicle. Obviously, this requirement is to increase the safety measures and prevent fewer deaths in the event of an accident. We want to ensure that your RV, bus, travel trailer, toy hauler, van, etc. are completely up to code as well! These fabrics can also be purchased "by the yard" for cushions and other reupholstery projects.
