The Jackknife bed is typically used in class C motor homes and tow trailers but has many other applications.It has the most flexibility of any sofa bed when going over floor obstacles no higher than 12”. It can be mounted on a platform, or with optional legs. Easy to open, simply lift and pull out. The jackknife bed typically opens to 42” and like the easy bed you sleep lengthwise left to right.
